A couple of very nice guys that were straight forward and willing listen to my need and work with what I wanted to get done. They were quick but cleaned up and put everything back after they were done. Could not be happier and will be calling them back any time I need electrical work done.

More about commercial remodels and renovations
A commercial remodel or renovation changes a building that is already in service: updating a lobby, reconfiguring offices, refreshing a retail floor, converting a floor to a new use, or bringing a dated building up to modern standards. The electrical work often touches existing panels, circuits and lighting that were installed decades ago.
Older Minnesota buildings in particular can hold surprises: overfilled panels, undocumented circuits, abandoned wiring, mixed generations of equipment and panel schedules that no longer match reality. We find out what is there before we commit to a plan, and we tell you what we find.
Many renovations happen while the rest of the building keeps operating. We plan outages, phasing and after-hours work with property managers and facility staff so tenants and customers are disrupted as little as the job allows.
When you need it
- You are reconfiguring floor plans and existing outlets, switches and lighting no longer land where they are needed
- Panels are full, mislabeled or showing age, and there is no room for the circuits the renovation needs
- The building has outdated lighting you want to replace as part of a broader refresh
- You are changing the use of a space and need to confirm the electrical can support it
- A renovation will open walls and ceilings, which is the cheapest time to correct old wiring
- A lender, insurer, inspector or buyer's due diligence has flagged electrical conditions to address
- Work must happen in a building that stays open, with outages limited to specific windows
What’s included, in detail
We trace panels, circuits and loads so the plan is based on what is actually installed.
Panel replacement or additions, circuit rework, and accurate directories when we are done.
Moving, extending or replacing branch circuits to suit the new layout.
New fixtures and controls where the renovation calls for them, including removal of the old wiring and equipment.
Sequencing so occupied areas keep power and planned outages are scheduled with the facility.
Bringing work we touch up to the National Electrical Code as adopted in Minnesota.
Permitting and inspection through DLI or the local jurisdiction, with a clean turnover.
Our process
- Assess the building
We walk the site, open panels and review what exists so the scope reflects reality.
- Plan the phasing
We agree on outage windows, access and sequencing with the owner, GC and property manager.
- Execute the work
Demolition, rough-in and new installation proceed in planned phases with inspections at the right points.
- Test and document
We verify the circuits, update panel directories and close out permits.
